No matter what your background is, we are looking for active, sunny, and enthusiastic people to share our cause.

Volunteer tasks include (but not limited to):

  • assistance in recovery, triage, examination and care procedures
  • biometric data collection
  • assistance to biologists and veterinarians
  • assistance with the release back to sea
  • maintenance of Center facilities
  • dissemination and awareness-raising for tourists, fishermen and local operators

To be a volunteer, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • be in good physical health
  • be willing to get wet and dirty
  • be willing to live with other volunteers, sharing meals and leisure time
  • be able to tolerate basic living conditions and share spaces with dogs and cats
  • be able to stay for at least one week

Non c’è bisogno di:

  • No prior experience or knowledge of sea turtles is needed
  • No background in biology is necessary
